Adjectives are words that describe the characteristics or emotional states of nouns, such as big, silly, yellow, fun, or quickly. They can also be used to describe how many nouns there are: many, few, millions, and eleven.
Adjectives change the nouns.
Adjectives are typically taught to students as words that modify or describe nouns. Adverbs, verbs, and other adjectives are not modified by adjectives.
Example: Shivam attended the pie-eating competition sporting a lovely hat.
Example: In the summer, dogs with fur may become overheated.
Example: There should be sixteen candles on my cake.
Example: Darth Vader is the scariest villain of all time.
The adjectives in the aforementioned sentences are simple to identify because they appear before the nouns they modify.
